The desire of the ministry here at “Hogar de Amor Y Proteccion al Niño” is to minister to all the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of the children that come into our care. Our commitment is to meet the needs of the children in our care to the point that they have received the education they desire and have entered the workforce. This represents a great responsibility, which is accompanied by an almost equally as large monetary cost. We would like to offer everyone who has a desire to partner with this ministry in that respect, the opportunity to do so. We know that there are many who would love to come and help here with the children, but circumstances make it impossible to do so. Many would be able to help financially though, through a one-time gift or on a monthly basis. We are proposing three different ways in which you may become involved in helping us.

One way to co-labour with us would be with a one time financial gift to the Children’s Home.

The second option would be to support the ministry financially on a monthly basis, which can be done by automatic withdrawal from your bank account, avoiding the need to remember to send a monthly cheque.

The third option for those who would like to be more personally involved with the children is to sponsor a child from the Children’s Home. This option gives you the opportunity to be in contact with a child, which may be done through sending letters, cards, or small gifts etc., for birthdays or special occasions. The child, or a Children’s home worker, depending on the age of the child, will respond to any communications. We recommend a monthly gift of $30.00 to sponsor a child. As the monthly costs to support a child are many times more than this, one child may have more than one sponsor.

All financial gifts are eligible for tax receipts, which will be issued at the beginning of the following year.
